We all want to have more of time so that we can accomplish more jobs and do more meaningful things. But no one can magically make one day in 25 hours long. What we can do is be more efficient with our time. Following are some tips to save more time.
1. Get up earlier
As we all know, the first half-hour of a day is really a great chance to work something important. If you usually get up at 8 o ‘clock, try half an hour earlier. Yeah, half hour may not sound like much, but it’s enough for you to take some exercises or reading, or just simply to get your day off to a calm and organized start.
2. Adjust your working hours
There are many companies that are very flexible on what times you can start and end work. Rather than spend two hours commuting to work during rush hour, adjust your working hours to save this driving time.
3. Do the important tasks first
Once you get to work, you can rake some minutes to prioritize your tasks. Make sure to get the important and urgent things done first, but not spend most your time on little things.
4. Stay focused on your work
As the saying goes, procrastination is the thief of time. You can easily lose your time by chatting with friends, updating your Facebook status, checking email, and so on. Just pay attention to your work. If you feel tired, just take a deep breath or go to the balcony to enjoy a-minute fresh air.
5. Eat healthy meals
Eating balanced meals will affect how you do your daily tasks. It gives you more energy so you can get your work done faster.
6. Go home on time
If you never make it out of the office door on time, then you are going to have fewer hours at home. In some cases, your work makes you can’t go away on time. But if you are staying because you only ever seem to get any work done in a mad dash at the end of the day, then you should change your working habits.
